NRGym-Fit
NRG-Fit classes are open to all ages and all abilities. The classes are designed to be educational, fun, challenging and tough, the classes are ‘session’ based and are constantly varied.
All of our workouts and movements are universally scale able which means that anyone can participate regardless of current ability.
NRG-Fit classes draws on movements from gymnastics, weightlifting and of course – life! All of our movements are functional (run, squat, push, pull, throw, climb, lift) and stimulate numerous muscle groups to rapidly advance your athletic progression. This functional approach to training will ensure every single muscle group is engaged during a workout, these functional movements are all executed at high intensity ensuring that you are training to perform at your best.
Our classes aim to develop and optimise physical competence in the ten recognised domains of fitness. These are: Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Accuracy. Improving in these areas will give you increased capacity, meaning you will be able to work harder and stronger. It will enable you to do this across broad time, so that no matter how long the physical demand lasts, you will be able to do what you have to do!
Everyone can do NRG-Fit, but NRG-Fit isn’t for everyone. It is bloody hard work! There is no walking on the treadmill!! The people who thrive from these classes are committed to hard work, dedicated to consistency, will try anything without fear of failure, and eager for challenge.
Whilst in a class you will use numerous pieces of equipment and tools to aid your training. There is a common saying in our classes, and that is "We don’t use machines, we make them!!”. We use but are not limited to barbells, rings, ropes, bars, kettlebells, bands, balls, dumbells, Barrells, boxes, cars, tyres, wall climbing and more!
Some classes are team based but an overwhelming factor within these classes is a team spirit, even if your just working against the clock or toward a personal best you can be sure the person next you is encouraging you to go further, to push yourself beyond where you have been before.
